CONFIRMED: Aaron Sorkin Creates Facebook Page,... →
I doubt it’ll be anything close to Pirates of the Sillicon Valley, but with Sorkin at the helm, it sure will be fun.  Casting suggestions: Zuckerfugger: Jason Swartzman, Zach Levi or Michael Cera um… Oh wait, other than those Winklevoss twins, who the fuck else (that’s famous) was involved in founding facebook.  Ah shit, this movie is gonna blow.

Warner Bros. Confirms Superman Reboot →
Warner Bros. President Jeff Robinov: “We’re going to try to go dark to the extent that the characters allow it,” he says. That goes for the company’s Superman franchise as well. Hm a “dark” take on Superman… I don’t see it.  Batman is inherently driven by it’s dark themes.  Superman is built on the idea of hope and light.  The only way that...

The Dark Knight Screenplay →
I just read this (while listening to The Dark Knight Soundtrack) and noticed a few scenes that were cut out of the movie, nothing major just minor precursors to scenes (eg. Bruce diving out of the smuglers plane into the ocean). It’s really worth a read, makes me want to see it again, again.

Amanda Beard Rips Michael Phelps →
After reading an article about Phelps’ music taste, and finding out it was rap and hip-hop, along with the fact that he’s 23 and allegedly a dumb fratboy.  I realized wow, Michael Phelps’ is actually a douchey mcdoucherton.  Somehow those are the guys that society rewards…

I love when real life immitates television.  Namely, Medellín.  The Biopic that was created in Entourage, starring Vincent Chase!  If you love Entourage as much as I do then you’ll understand why I had to post this. :-D They should rename the movie to Medellín, as a hommage to the film within the tv show.

The Loom: A New Step In Evolution →
Some guys at MSU are doing what I like to call some good ole practical evolution, here’s a snippet about the article (it’s a bit of a thick read but def worth it): A dozen flasks full of E. coli are sloshing around on a gently rocking table. The bacteria in those flasks has been evolving since 1988—for over 44,000 generations. And because they’ve been so carefully...

NetShare may come back to the AppStore →
Apple is claiming there was some e-mail mixup, but I’m not buying it.  Pretty much all the people at Apple I know are like me and would have known about this issue regardless of any emails being sent.  Nonetheless, if NetShare does go back online, I’m buying it, then possibly buying a 3G? :-o

Why do we capitalize "I", when no other language... →
i am going to try this for the next few weeks: Still, there seems to be something to it all. Modern e-mail culture has shown that many English speakers feel perfectly comfortable dismissing all uses of capitalization — and even correct spelling, for that matter. But take this a step further: i suggest that You try, as an experiment, to capitalize those whom You address while leaving yourselves...

Farmer has double arm transplant →
I love what the doctor says: “We discussed with the patient that he would have to deal with the fact that his hands were from somebody else. “But this was discussed before the first heart transplant, and in reality nobody really cared about that.”
