peterwknox: How I Met Your Significantly Younger Mother I have to say there was something new and refreshing about the way Ted looked in this scene that brought me back to the early seasons, but at the same time really had me feeling this was an important next step :) Note: I did did some timeline calculations regarding the LTCMTM (The Latest Ted Could Meet The Mother): 2005: Ted is 27 (subsequently 31 in 2009)2020: Ted is 42 (as seen in the college reunion episode)2030: Ted is 52 (the exact point at which he turns into bob saget is still unclear) So we know for a fact that Ted meets the mother before 2020 since Ted says “where’s my wife”. This is little information to go on here, but the good news is they still have time. My best guess is that the show will go for a total of 10 seasons fingers crossed which would have Ted propose to the mother in 2014, when he’s 36. I’m going to file this under “calculated guesses” for later retrieval.
