Web Design Timeline; this was making the rounds last year, I think, but I don’t think I posted it then. The real reason I post it now is that someone on reddit suggested that “making it work in IE 6 and 7” should be an extra point on the bill for web design jobs. Then someone replied that they’d actually done that (charging extra for making it work in IE), and would boast in marketing materials how much they saved those of their clients who chose the “no IE support” package—the exact opposite of every other firm, who would have lost the job if they tried to say they wouldn’t support Internet Explorer.Now that, regardless of its ethical component, is pure genius. — dailymeh
